Accessibility Statement
Last updated 16 October 2026.
Piesie Esther's official website is meant for a broad audience — fans, churches, event organisers, journalists and press — and we want it to be usable by as many of them as possible, including people who use assistive technology, browse by keyboard, or need to adjust text size, contrast, motion or spacing to browse comfortably.
What we've built in
This site is built with semantic HTML, labelled forms, and keyboard-accessible navigation and controls throughout. It also includes an on-site accessibility adjustment tool — look for the accessibility button on the left edge of the screen — that lets you, in real time:
- Increase or decrease text size across the site's readable content
- Turn on a high-contrast colour mode
- Turn on grayscale
- Make links more visually obvious
- Use a stronger, more visible keyboard focus outline
- Switch to a reading-friendly font
- Increase letter spacing and line height, and left-align paragraph text
- Reduce or pause animation and motion, including turning off countdown ticking
- Disable automatic video/audio playback
- Turn on a focus mode that removes non-essential floating elements
- Use a larger cursor
Your choices are remembered on this device for your next visit, and every one of them can be reset from the same panel at any time.
What we don't claim
We're not going to tell you this site is "fully" or "100%" compliant with any accessibility standard — that's not a claim we can make without a full, independent audit, and we haven't had one done. What we can say is that accessibility is something we actively build for and keep improving, not an afterthought.
Something not working for you?
If you hit a genuine barrier anywhere on this site — a page that doesn't work with a screen reader, a control you can't reach by keyboard, contrast that's hard to read even with the adjustments above, or anything else — we want to know about it. Tell us what page you were on, what device and browser you were using, and what happened, and email hello@piesieesthermusic.com.
Changes to this statement
We'll update this page as the site's accessibility features change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
