Privacy Policy
Last updated 16 October 2026.
This policy explains what information the official Piesie Esther website (piesieesther.com) collects, why, and how it's handled. It applies to this website and the booking, ticketing and newsletter features on it.
Who this policy covers
This site is operated by Piesie Esther as an individual, not through a separate registered company. For any privacy question, contact hello@piesieesthermusic.com.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Contact form submissions — name, email, phone (optional), and your message.
- Booking enquiries — your name, organisation, contact details, and event information you provide when requesting to book Piesie Esther for an event.
- Event registration and ticketing — name, email, phone, and, for paid tickets, payment details processed directly by our payment provider (see "Payments" below) — we do not receive or store your card number.
- Newsletter subscription — your email address, and confirmation status (subscriptions use a double opt-in: you confirm by email before receiving anything).
- Basic analytics — pages visited and general usage patterns, collected via Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel (see "Analytics & advertising" below).
How we use it
We use the information above to respond to enquiries, process bookings and ticket orders, issue and verify event tickets, send transactional emails (booking updates, ticket confirmations, event changes), send newsletter updates to confirmed subscribers, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Payments
Paid ticket purchases are processed by Paystack, a third-party payment provider supporting mobile money, card, and bank transfer. Payment card details are entered directly with Paystack and are never transmitted to or stored on this website. Paystack's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment information.
Analytics & advertising
This site may use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel to understand site usage and measure the performance of any advertising. These tools use cookies and similar technology. Where required, these are only loaded after you accept them in the cookie banner — see our use of cookies below and the banner shown on your first visit.
Cookies
The site uses essential cookies needed for it to function (such as keeping your session and ticket-checkout reservation active), and optional analytics/advertising cookies, which are only set once you've given consent through the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the "manage cookie preferences" link in the footer.
Data retention
We keep booking, contact and ticketing records for up to 2 years after the event or enquiry they relate to, after which they're deleted unless we're required to keep them longer for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. You can request earlier deletion of your own information at any time — see "Your rights" below.
Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these, contact hello@piesieesthermusic.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
